Small Changes Can Make All the Difference
Sometimes all it takes is one or two simple yet carefully considered changes to make all the difference to your property.
Take for example the re-landscaping of a traditional porch area that ALDA carried out for a client in Brimpton this January.
The aim was to extend the paving area leading up to the front door to make a more attractive and practical entrance to our client’s property. The action we took was simply to take up and relay the beautiful York stone paving using some extra slabs taken from the back garden to match in with the existing ones.
The result is a new porch landing more in keeping with the scale of this Georgian property. The impressive stone pillars either side of the door now have a base to sit on which they previously lacked, making them stand out more as a feature.
It just goes to show, sometimes all it takes are a few minor changes to make all the difference!
