The brief for this project was to turn a fairly small, standard modern garden into a contemporary showstopper – but still with plenty of lawn for play. The garden is wide and shallow.
Our design was based on a very simple structure, with ultra clean lines and close attention to detail – from the shutter screen, water feature and fire pit through to the lighting, pizza oven, furniture, parasol and planting.
Simplicity works, but it isn’t always easy to achieve – every little detail matters, from the the lines of symmetry in the structure, to the location of the parasol, and the routing of the gas pipe for fire pit! Get everything right and the result is stunning.
